How Delete a Company from Tally

In this topic you learn, how delete a company from Tally. If you don't want a company that you are created, you can delete that company from Tally. 

If you want remove your company in Tally, follow the below procedure. If you delete a company from Tally you cannot be revised. It permanently delete all data from the hard drive. 

To delete company from Tally - Gateway of Tally -> Alt+F3 : Company Info -> Alter -> Alt+D

1. Press Alt+F3 from Gateway of Tally. The Company Info window displays on the screen as below. 



Press Alter and select the company which you want to delete from the list of companies. 



After selecting the company from the list press enter key to display Company Alternation screen. 
On the Company Alteration screen press Alt+D. Now you will get a confirmation message 'Delete ? Yes or No' as below image. Press 'Y' or select Yes. 



After pressing Yes for above confirmation, Tally again ask confirmation message for deleting as shown below. 





Press 'Y' key or select 'Yes' using mouse. After completing these steps you are deleted a company from Tally.
